Yes, I want to help even more abused animals with Gift Aid is required.

I understand you will reclaim the tax I've paid on this donation, any I've made in the past four years and any I may make in the future.
To qualify for Gift Aid, I must pay as much UK income and/or captial gains tax as FOUR PAWS UK and the other organisaitons I support claims on my behalf in each tax year.
This is currently 25p on every £1 that I donate. If I pay less tax, I'm responsible for paying the difference. Gift Aid will help fund FOUR PAWS' general work. I can cancel this declaration at any time.

Help us end the suffering of animals in Marghazar ZOO for GOOD

Animals are suffering in Marghazar ZOO, Pakistan; A Himalayan brown bear who has completely lost his teeth and needs urgent special care, monkeys who struggle to survive in extremely small cages. These are not the only animals suffering they join the long list of bears, wolves, deer, a lonely elephant and rabbits who are suffering daily due to extremely poor health care and inexperienced staff.

In 2016, FOUR PAWS assessed the establishment and recommended vast improvements of food and physical care of the animals as well as a veterinary training program and health treatment guidelines. However, the Zoo has consistently ignored FOUR PAWS recommendations, neglecting its animals, and leaving many to die. The Islamabad Supreme Court has ordered the immediate closure of the area and approved the relocation of all the animals. This is a huge milestone for the country, not only because of the fate of the animals in Islamabad zoo, but also because it will hopefully facilitate the promotion of more animal welfare policies in the future.

But, there is now a ray of hope for the animals who have managed to survive. This mission has to be fast, but together with the Islamabad Wildlife Management Board and your help today, we will be able to provide not only a new home for the Islamabad animals, but also all the care they have been missing: proper veterinary checks, spacious enclosures, food, clean water and a place to recover.

We can only do this with your support

How can you help?

Your support today will make a difference:

  • £15 will feed a starving bear for a week
  • £30 will contribute towards preparing new enclosures for the animals to live in, loved protected and cared for
  • £50 will help provide medical care to a neglected wolf and support its recovery
  • £90 will support the animals' transport to their new enclosures
  • A generous gift of £150 will help FOUR PAW's continuous work to create a better world for animals, worldwide.

Can you help us to end the suffering of captive animals in the Islamabad ZOO
